Mō te tūnga | About the role

Ward AG is part of Older Persons Mental Health, based at Burwood Hospital. The team is on the lookout for an experienced enrolled nurse to join them, on a full-time permanent basis. You will be following a roster pattern of 4 days on 2 days off, encompassing morning, afternoon and night shifts. 

We have a 0.94 FTE fixed-term position available until October 2024.

We are looking for Enrolled Nurses with mental health scope to join our team, you will find yourself constantly thinking on your feet whilst contributing essential services within a rewarding field; working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-level care to our tāngata whaiora who have complex mental health needs. With a key focus on career development, we value honesty, respect and integrity.

Mō mātou – About us

Burwood Hospital is a close-knit, friendly facility that forms part of Te Whatu Ora – Waitaha [Canterbury] situated near Burwood Forest on the outskirts of Christchurch Central.  Along with 11 inpatient wards, we also have a busy Out Patient Department; 4 theatres with an Admitting Unit and PACU. Our Spinal Unit is one of two located in New Zealand and between the two busy units deliver a National Service.
