Casual Dental Therapist / Oral Health Therapist – Greymouth / Westport
Come and experience life on the beautiful West Coast. We currently have casual opportunities available working in Greymouth and Westport for experienced Dental Therapist / Oral Health Therapists (DT / OHT) with a current Annual Practicing Certificates (APC).

Mō te tūnga - About the Role
As an experienced practitioner, you will be providing dental therapy to our tamariki / children.
You’ll be working from brand new hospital dental clinics and at community school settings (mobiles) and with children and their whanau / family. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse patient groups, managing a wide variety of oral health problems. You need to be a reflective practitioner who embraces innovation and advances in clinical practice and will enjoy working in a team alongside other skilled DTs / OHTs and Dental Assistants. Some travel within the region may be required.
The position requires from you a minimal of a month’s commitment. Te Tai o Poutini West Coast will provide your travel and accommodation.

- Committed to providing high quality oral health
care appropriate to the physical, social and cultural needs of pre-school and
school age children
- Participate in team meetings, in-service training and quality improvements as required
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako - Skills and Experience
- Registration with the NZ Dental Council and current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Recent clinical experience as a Dental Therapist / Oral Health Therapist
- Current driver’s licence
- Ability to communicate across our multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent time management skills
- Self-motivated and demonstrates a drive and energy to problem solve
- An Understanding of IT, PMS experience e.g.
Titanium is essential.
