The Role: What This Opportunity’s All About
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is able to work autonomously but also part of a multi disciplinary team. Your duties will include liaising with patients and their families to establish discharge destinations when residential care is required.
You will need to be Interai trained or willing to undertake the training required, as these assessments are an integral part of the role.
You will need have superior communication and time management skills.
A portion of this position will include coordination of the interai’s required within OPH.
This is a permanent fulltime time position 1 FTE (40 hours per week). This role is based at Burwood Hospital working across wards to suit the service.
You’ll be a Registered Nurse or Allied health professional with a passion for Older Persons’ Health and you’ll thrive on the challenge of seeing the bigger picture for each patient.
