Clinical Nurse Specialist - Diabetes Centre
0.4 FTE (16 hours) permanent part-time position.
Senior nurse (Expert PDRP level) with a current NZ practicing certificate.
Holds or working towards a post-graduate diploma.

Are you a Senior Registered Nurse looking for a new Specialised Challenge? This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like a part time position as a Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialist!
This exciting and challenging role will capitalise on your passion for education as well as your ability to enthuse your patients and motivate real behaviour change.
The Role: Where you fit in
- As the Clinical Nurse Specialist in Diabetes – you will be recognised internationally as an expert practitioner
- With your in-depth knowledge of diabetes, you will expand the boundaries of nursing practice & the implementation of evidence based practice & clinical research
- Provide expert nursing knowledge for patient-care
- Leadership role through patient-care delivery
- Collaborating with patients & multidisciplinary team for care plans
- Clinical research, recording & analysis
