Dietitian (Fixed-term) - Christchurch Hospital

The Team: What we do
Our team of dynamic and motivated Dietitians, based primarily at Christchurch Campus provides support to adult and patients across a range of clinical specialties including oncology, orthopaedics, otolaryngology, respiratory, neurology, general medical, surgical wards and outpatients particular radiation oncology.
The Role: Where you fit in
As a New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a current NZ Practising Certificate, you’ll provide nutritional assessment, nutritional care plans and education to inpatients and outpatients, within the adult team. This exciting and challenging role will also capitalise on your passion for education as well as your ability to enthuse your patients and motivate real behaviour change. You’ll be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, liaising with health providers and you’ll be driven to ensure best health outcomes for people with nutrition related disorders.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, positive team player with a good mix of clinical experience and a desire to learn more. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will receive regular supervision and opportunities for professional development and you will also be encouraged to develop your skills and professional interests. You’ll be self-motivated, organised and enjoy a challenge. Your relationships with your patients will be crucial to this role so your strong interpersonal and communication skills will shine out.
