Social Worker - North Sector
- 1.0 FTE full time fixed-term (ending Nov 2019) position.
- A recognised tertiary qualification in Social Work
- A current APC, OR ability to complete the requirements and be registered within three months of the employment commencement date as per CDHB Social Work Registration Policy.

The Team: What we do
This is a demanding and challenging role within a supportive team. You will regularly develop and review a job plan and caseload with the Clinical Social Work specialist. The clinicians on the team have a range of skills and areas of clinical expertise- we’ll provide you with a great opportunity to enhance your skills in a specialty area.
The Role: Where you fit in
The ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with youth, family/whanau, and community organisations is essential. You’ll need great organisational and excellent time management skills to keep up with this exciting client group with flexibility in your approach and a passion for working with young people and seeing them succeed.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team and will maintain a high quality, safe and secure work environment by following relevant Canterbury DHB and divisional policies, protocols and standards. The ever changing nature of your work would mean that you will need to be flexible, have initiative and excellent problem solving skills.
