The Team: What we do
The Radiology Department is excited to invite applications from people wishing to train as Sonographers. Training will be offered at the Christchurch Hospital, Christchurch Women’s Hospital and Christchurch Community referred campuses.
The Role: Where you fit in
The successful applicant will undertake the post
graduate diploma of health sciences (Ultrasound) through the University of
Auckland. You will complete all components of this post graduate qualification
s registered with the NZMRTB as a
qualified Sonographer. Practical and limited theoretical tuition will be
provided to the successful applicant, with a large amount of self-directed and
online learning required.
We are seeking
motivated, positive and dedicated individuals who are committed to patient care
and best practice imaging. You will be able to work in a close team
environment, have well developed decision making processes and a strong desire
to succeed. Applicants should have an appropriate science qualification such as
a degree in medical imaging or similar, be of good character and have an
excellent work ethic.
