Administration Team Supervisor
- Christchurch - Christchurch Health Campus - Plastic Surgery Service
- Full time permanent position working 40 hours per week
About the role
We are inviting applications from experienced supervisors keen to step into this role leading our Plastic Surgery Administration Team based on the Christchurch Hospital Campus. A component of the service is located at Burwood Hospital.
The Plastic Surgery services carries out a wide range of activities which support the Christchurch Hospital Campus and wider Canterbury l Waitaha region, and this includes:
- Coordinating smooth patient flow through the Service
- Maintaining consistent administrative processes across the service
- Identifying areas of constraint to patient flow and working with the service leadership team to implement solutions
- Monitoring all bookings and transcription throughput to keep within service and HNZ National guidelines
- Monitoring waitlists, reporting, and acting upon in line with service requirements
- Regular Missed Appointment audits are undertaken and acted on accordingly
- The role also involves a component of in-patient booking
About you
To be successful in this role it is essential you will have:
- Proven supervisory experience leading and motivating teams in a busy environment
- An in-depth knowledge of SIPICS
- A strong customer service mindset and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities
- In-depth knowledge and user of SIPICS and HCS
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with diplomacy and maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Calm under pressure, with a proactive and responsible approach.
