Administrator – Oral Health Christchurch Hospital 

·  Permanent part-time (20 hours per week 0.5 FTE)

The Team: What we do

Hospital Dental is comprised of dentists, dental technicians, dental assistants and administrators. The Service provides care to patients who require dental treatment in a hospital setting. The Service treats people who are medically compromised, have a physical intellectual or mental health condition and children who need to have their dental treatment under general anaesthetic.



The Role: Where you fit in

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing administration support for clinicians who work with mental health teams and support to other clinical staff in the department
  • Communicating with referrers
  • Processing referrals
  • Provide back-up to reception staff
  • Rostering

Your skills will include:

  • Ability to prioritise your work
  • Demonstrate initiative, problem solving and flexibility to meet the needs of the department
  • Have a high degree of accuracy
  • Have keyboard literacy
  • Experience with patient management systems and Microsoft programmes other than Word
  • Be motivated and reliable
