- Permanent part time 0.6 FTE Nursing Leadership role, along with a casual position available
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC
- Acute medical or surgical senior nurse experience is essential

We are seeking Registered Nurses who are wanting an opportunity to work with our dedicated After Hours Nursing Team on the Christchurch Hospital campus.
As the After Hours Nurse Coordinator you will be responsible for assessing and ensuring optimum patient care, through appropriate allocation of medical and clinical resources across the hospital, after hours, weekends and public holidays. This is a busy and at times challenging role.

In this busy and challenging role, you will be an expert in the acute setting with excellent patient assessment skills and highly organised with great time management skills.
You will enjoy liaising with a variety of health professionals and the public and as key point of liaison after hours, your communication skills will be second to none. Thinking on your feet, with the ability to problem solve is imperative.
