There is an exciting fixed-term opportunity currently within the Adult Community Mental Health for a ACNM to join West Coast Community Crisis Response. The West Coast Crisis Response team provides a 24 hour service assessing the needs and providing treatment and support to clients experiencing psychiatric crisis. 

  • Working seamlessly within an Interdisciplinary Team of Health Professionals
  • Lead, develop & up skill other members in your team

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in mental health and who has an interest in developing their leadership and management skills. Strategic thinking, problem solving, excellent interpersonal skills are imperative as you will interact with a wide range of people both within the team and the Department of Nursing; and across the facility.

If you have a desire to develop your management and leadership skills, we’re committed to supporting you, with professional development opportunities available to ensure you thrive in his demanding environment.  A thorough orientation programme will be provided.

  • Initiative, solution focused with excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasks.

  • You will either hold or be working towards a relevant post graduate qualification
  • Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC with proven clinical expertise within acute nursing
