Casual Physiotherapist

About the Role
Christchurch
Hospital is a busy, acute hospital with a large team of enthusiastic
physiotherapists. Regular professional
development opportunities are provided and supported.
These positions are a great opportunity
to try something new, and are often an opportunity to step into something more
permanent.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking expert assessments, completing appropriate interventions and providing advice or referring to other services.
- Helping supervise students and providing mentorship to junior colleagues as your experience level progresses.
- Working alongside a multi-disciplinary team.
About You
We are looking for Physiotherapists who can hit the ground running with a passion to deliver high quality standard of care to patients on the Christchurch Campus. You will be working across all inpatient areas as a member of the multidisciplinary team. You will need to be flexible and adaptable with enthusiasm for knowledge sharing across disciplines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A broad range of experience across the tertiary care environment
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- The ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
- New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist with Current Annual Practicing Certificate is essential
