About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and reliable administrator to join our Referral Centre team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week, Monday to Friday). This role is worked across Monday to Friday, with flexibility around how the 20 hours are distributed.
The Referral Centre plays a vital role in supporting patient access to services by managing incoming referrals. This role involves both the registration and actioning of referrals, ensuring they are processed accurately and within required timeframes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Registering and processing patient referrals in a timely manner
- Actioning referrals in line with service guidelines and priorities
- Ensuring data accuracy and maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Working closely with clinical teams and colleagues to support smooth patient flow
- Providing flexible support across the wider administration team and covering other roles when required
As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to National Band 4/Profile 4A

About you
In this role, we require someone who is:
- A strong team player who contributes positively to a collaborative environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Able to manage workload and meet deadlines in a busy setting
- Confident using computer systems and learning new applications
- Previous administration experience in a healthcare setting is desirable
