About the role

Our team of dynamic and motivated Dietitians are based at Burwood Campus working across older persons health and rehabilitation. 

We have a casual vacancy available, for a flexible dietitian looking to support our great team at Burwood Hospital and to meet the needs of our patients. You’ll be working as part of multi-disciplinary teams, liaising with health providers and you’ll be driven to ensure best health outcomes for people with nutrition related disorders.

Depending on your skill mix and experience, as well as your preference for flexible hours we are keen to hear from you. As a casual you will have supported orientation, professional development and supervision.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing nutrition assessment, intervention and education in all clinical settings

About You

You will be a New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.

Your skills will include:

  • Enthusiasm for your work and the ability to be a positive team player
  • Self-motivation, organisation and will enjoy a challenge
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience in a range of different settings and a desire to learn
  • Competent with oral and enteral nutrition experience is desired
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth 
  • Computer literacy
  • Flexibility and able to adapt to the day as required
