Clinical Physiologist - Cardiac
- Part time fixed term opportunity (35hrs per week) for a Qualified Cardiac Physiologist
- This role will run from end of June through to 26 December 2025
- Based at Christchurch Campus

About the Role
As a Qualified Cardiac Physiologist, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a tertiary hospital which is the electrophysiology and ICD centre for the South Island of New Zealand.
About you
We are seeking a qualified cardiac physiologist to join us in this fixed term opportunity. You must have a Theoretical understanding and practical competency across the Cardiac Physiologist scope of practice.
- Independent in Catheter Laboratory
- Independent in analysing Holters
- Experience with CIED implants and follow up
- Observe professional ethics and demonstrate professional responsibility and accountability Professional interpersonal skills and proven ability to create effective working relationships
- Effective time management skills
- Meticulous attention to technical detail
- Ability to adapt under pressure
Essential Qualifications/ Registrations
- Current Practising Certificate
- Membership of SCT
- BSc Physiology or equivalent
- Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Technology
- Certification of Cardiac Physiologists
