  • Cook – Baker | Monday to Friday 4:00am-12:30pm | 40 hours per week | Starting rate $29.25 per hour

About the role

The Baker role is to prepare and bake goods according to recipes and standards. You will follow instructions and the Bakery Supervisor to make sure food is prepared safely, tastes good, and is ready on time for customers. You will work with the Bakery and Cookery team to ensure the café kitchen is clean, well-organised, and runs smoothly.

Adaptability is essential as the successful candidate will be required to complete a variety of tasks. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing food to a high standard.

  • Physical fitness and strength to transport goods and deliveries across campus.

  • The physical ability to stand for long periods and lift items.

  • Basic understanding of food safety rules.
