About the Role
In this role as a District Nurse, you will work both autonomously and in a team alongside other District Nurses. Based at Ashburton Hospital, this service operates in collaborative partnership with both the hospital and wider community services. This role includes day, evening and weekend work.

About the Service
Ashburton District nursing is a rurally based team caring for people in the community. Completing complex wound care, medication management, IV medications, palliative and end of life cares, our team keeps people in their homes, decreases hospital admissions and assists in facilitating early discharge.
About You
The role will include, but is not limited to; wounds, intravenous antibiotics and palliative care.
Given the nature of the role you will be required to travel throughout the Mid Canterbury region caring for patients with a variety of nursing care needs.
- A NZ Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate.
