About the Role
In this role as a District Nurse, you will work both autonomously and in a team alongside other District Nurses.
Based in Ashburton Hospital, this service operates in collaborative partnership with both the hospital and wider community services.
The role will include but is not limited to; wounds, intravenous antibiotics and palliative care. Given the nature of the role you will be required to travel throughout the Mid Canterbury region caring for patients with a variety of nursing care needs.
About You
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC
- Post graduate clinical experience in community nursing desirable
- Full drivers licence
- Good communication skills, professional and high standards of presentation
- Able and flexible to cover shifts across Monday – Sunday
