About the Role

  • District Nurse – Ashburton and Rural
  • Permanent role working FTE 0.825
  • These are rostered shifts working Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 8 hour shifts 0800-1630, Thursday 0800-1200 & Friday 0800-1300
  • Adhere to guidelines of Cultural Safety and the Treaty of Waitangi


Skills & Experience

  • NZ Registered Nurse with current annual practising certificate
  • Senior nurse with medical and surgical experience, palliative care, IV therapy and wound care with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Whakawhanaungatanga (ability to forge and foster relationships)
  • Whakamanaakitanga (ability to treat others with respect, encouragement and support)
  • Whakakotahitanga (ability to work in your role and actively participate and align this to our organisational values and goals)
