About the Role
The Quality Manager Medical and Surgical Services at Christchurch Hospital is seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Quality Practitioner to fulfil the fixed term role of Associate Quality Manager. This is provide support for the Quality Manager role so that they can focus primarily on Adverse Events, Complaints and Risk Management for a period of time. You will be able to translate strategic quality objectives into actionable plans that drive continuous improvement and excellence in clinical care.
Your responsibilities will include
- Representing the Quality Manager at District and Divisional level meetings.
- Preparing, analysing and presenting quality monitoring reports.
- Progressing and embedding Clinical Governance across the Division.
- Providing day to day support and direction for the Quality Team.
- Coordinating Certification requirements.
- Monitoring the review of controlled documents.
- Overseeing and monitoring key improvement projects.
About you:
You will bring a strong clinical or health management background with
- A relevant tertiary qualification in health or related field.
- At least 5 years post-qualification experience in clinical practice or health management.
- Proven ability to foster a culture of innovation, accountability, transparency, and customer-focused service.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering sustainable system and process improvements within complex healthcare settings.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to influence and inspire teams across the continuum of care.
- You will work within a dynamic multidisciplinary environment, contributing to meaningful improvements in health outcomes for patients and whānau across our community.
