The Role: What This Opportunity’s All About

We are looking for a Facility Coordinator to manage and maintain the day to day smooth running of a new multi-story building close to Christchurch Hospital. This is a fulltime, permanent role, worked 7.00am – 3.30pm, Monday – Friday. It’s a varied position and an exciting time for our organisation! 


Responsibilities include;

  • Supervising the services provided to the building to ensure they are in full operational order at all times
  • Ensuring all facilities are maintained to a high standard and fully stocked for the users of the building, and that any issues are resolved and recorded
  • Ensuring incoming goods are receipted against orders and dispersed around the building
  • Overseeing the cleaning contractors and ensuring that all supplies are ordered and stocked regularly
  • General administration, including using the online ordering system, Outlook and Microsoft Office products
  • Maintaining a high degree of health and safety


About you;

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude to share our pride in this new facility, take ownership of the role and ensure that the building is always maintained to high standard, well presented and running smoothly.

Our ideal applicant with have some facilities experience, be very well organised and demonstrate excellence in customer service. Intermediate administration experience, including in the use of MS Office products, will see you transition well into the role. We are looking for someone who can be relied on and will take on any job, big or small, as required. Some flexibility with hours may be required from time to time to facilitate evening or weekend events and functions.
