Ward One is a 21-bed Acute Medical and Palliative Care Ward.

 

The Role: Where you fit in

Healthcare Assistants are instrumental in providing care to patients in all clinical areas across Ashburton Hospital. We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to work in our team on a part time basis.

As a Healthcare Assistant you will assist nursing staff with patient cares whilst maintaining a safe and clean work environment. You will enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team, have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a high level of confidentiality and the ability to work well under pressure. The role works on a 3 weeks rotation working a mixture of morning (07:30 – 12:30) and afternoon (16:30 – 20:30) shift over an average of 18 hours per week.
