Healthcare Assistant – Neonatal Milk Room
- 0.7FTE (56 hours per fortnight) permanent position
- 8-hour shifts rostered across Monday – Sunday
- Availability to work some weekends and public holidays is essential

About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Healthcare Assistant to work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team in our milk room. In this role you will be preparing infant feeds as ordered for the infants within the neonatal service. Hours of Work: 56 hours per fortnight, comprising 7 shifts of 8 hours each. The number of shifts worked in each week may vary depending on operational requirements.
About You
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a high level of confidentiality and the ability to work well under pressure is essential in this role.
Other key requirements for the role are:
- An understanding of milk room work requirements is advantageous
- An understanding of infection control and hygiene aspects
- Ability to work both autonomously as well as in a team
- Confidence in mathematical tasks
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills beneficial
