Home Support Worker - Ashburton Hospital
- 3 x Positions available – Permanent part time and Casual
- Shifts rostered across Monday – Sunday, from 7:00am – 8:00pm
- Must hold a current, full driver licence with reliable transport (essential)

About the Role
Our Home Support Service supports people in the local community with personal and domestic care, helping them to remain independent in the comfort of their own homes.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting clients with personal cares & household management
- Tailoring care to each client and their individual care plans
- Appropriately documenting any changes in a client’s condition or circumstances.
We have 3 positions available; please indicate which role(s) you would like to be considered for in your personalised cover letter.
Role 1: Permanent, part time position of 0.5FTE (20 hours per week)
Role 2: Permanent, part time position of 0.65FTE (26 hours per week
Role 3: Casual position (no set hours, covering annual and sick leave)
About You
- Current full Driver Licence – this is essential to complete the role
- Physically fit with the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Honest and trustworthy with the ability to build and nurture professional relationships
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Previous experience desirable however full training is provided
