interventional radiology procedures at Christchurch Hospital – a major tertiary
referral centre in New Zealand.

This 12-month fellowship provides excellent exposure to vascular and
non-vascular procedures, including interventional oncology, hepatobiliary,
genitourinary, and musculoskeletal interventions. You’ll receive mentorship
from a team of experienced interventional radiologists and work in a department
equipped with state-of-the-art imaging technology.

About the Role
As an Interventional Radiology Fellow, you will work alongside a team of dynamic specialists in a busy tertiary referral centre that services the South Island. You will gain exposure to a broad spectrum of diagnostic and interventional procedures and participate in multidisciplinary meetings and teaching activities. This role offers significant opportunities for professional development and hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
About the Team / Service / Location
Our
interventional radiology team is based at Christchurch Hospital, the largest
tertiary hospital in the South Island. We are a collaborative and inclusive
group of radiologists, registrars, and allied health professionals delivering
high-quality care with a patient-centred approach.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have completed or be near completion of your specialist radiology training (FRANZCR or equivalent)
- Be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Demonstrate a strong interest in interventional radiology
- Work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams
