Kitchen Assistant | Ashburton Hospital

· Permanentpart time position working 12 hours per fortnight

· Sunday lunch service 10am -2pm

· Two Saturday afternoons per month 3pm – 7 pm

Being a part of this team will mean that you will enhance the patient journey by supporting clinicians and services with the excellent provision of administration delivery.


The Role: Where you fit in

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare food for service
  • Assist with preparing and presenting food
  • Provide a warm, friendly and welcoming style of service to all customers
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely manner & ensure customer supplies are replenished

Your skills will include:

  • Experienced in customer service
  • Flexible approach and attitude and a “can do attitude”
  • Ability to maintain clean & tidy kitchen areas and support where needed
