About the Role

  • Nurse Coordinator – Postgraduate Nursing Education
  • Permanent Fulltime – Flexible working hours Mon – Fri based at our Corporate Office
  • Reporting to the Nurse Manager – Nursing Workforce Development
  • Adhere to guidelines of Cultural Safety and the Treaty of Waitangi
  • Coordinate the delivery of Health Workforce New Zealand Nursing Contract for postgraduate education
  • Coordinate the application and funding support for graduate education and the credit utilisation

Skills & Experience

  • Senior Registered Nurse with current practising certificate
  • A post graduate nursing qualification and a certificate in adult learning or equivalent
  • An understanding of legal, policy and regulatory environment for nursing including Nursing council key documents such as Nurse Practitioner and Expanded Practice, NZQA, framework and HWNZ funding policy
  • Whakawhanaungatanga (ability to forge and foster relationships)
  • Whakamanaakitanga (ability to treat others with respect, encouragement and support)
  • Whakakotahitanga (ability to work in your role and actively participate and align this to our organisational values and goals)
