Part Time Laundry Worker | Greymouth

Hours - 0.75FTE (30 hours per week)
Shifts - 7:30am - 2pm
Status -Permanent
Location - Te Nikau Hospital and Health Centre, Greymouth
Salary – Starting from $23.75 per
hour. Based on the E tū Service and Food Workers collective agreement
Benefits - Time and a half on weekends! and double time on Public
Holidays!

About the Role
This role is a great opportunity to learn how a hospital works and get a
foot in the door to a world of opportunities.
You will be part of a small team that contributes to the hospital running smoothly. You will help our hospital to be a place where people can get better safely, families can visit in comfort, and staff can do great work in a hygienic and safe environment.
You will be responsible for ensuring
laundry is processed in a timely manner and to the required standard.
The role involves:
- Ensure all sites and departments have sufficient levels of linen.
- Sorting, cleaning and dispatching linen.
- Keeping the work environment and machines clean.
- Putting linen away into the wards/sites.
Training will be given on what you need to know about looking hospital linen and the hygiene of the linen facilities.

- Experience in commercial or factory laundry preferred but not essential
