The Role: What This Opportunity’s All About
You will be a part of a small administration team which works closely with the clinical team – your motivation and willingness to help out where needed with see you quickly succeed in this role. As the medical administrator you will produce typed clinic letters dictated on the Winscribe system, make bookings and direct inquiries to the clinical team. Attention to detail and a passion for producing accurate work is essential.
We’re looking for someone with excellent typing skills (50wpm minimum). You will use your excellent command of the English language and your ability to problem solve to distil the different speech patterns of clinicians into accurate clinical documents. Your flexibility and adaptability will be demonstrated when you are challenged to use multiple computer applications and programs concurrently. Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment, a knowledge of medical terminology and prior use of a patient management system are desirable.
To be successful you
will have a demonstrated work history of clinical typing, be a great
communicator and have knowledge of medical terminology as well.
This position is 16 hours per week.
