We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant, providing essential support to the CAF Service Leadership Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning and operational effectiveness of the Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Service which is a large, busy multi-disciplinary service.
As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to National Band 5/Profile 5, Step 1 to 3 (final placement step is dependent on skills, knowledge and experience)

Administration and Clerical Pay Equity – Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing confidential administrative support to the CAF Service Leadership Team.
- Diary management, coordinating meeting logistics, including organizing meeting rooms, technology, and catering as required.
- Collating meeting agendas and circulate minutes to relevant stakeholders. Attending meetings and accurately record minutes.
- Organise all Course/Conference and study related travel and accommodation approvals and bookings.
- Administer employee payment system.
About you
Skills and experience
Essential
- Proven experience as a PA/Administrator/Secretary at a senior level.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, demonstrating highly developed computer literacy.
- Excellent keyboard skills and the ability to handle data entry tasks efficiently.
- Possession of technical knowledge and skills relevant to the position, with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at a professional level.
- Willingness to undergo ongoing training and upskilling as necessary.
- Attention to detail, with high standards and a conscientious approach to tasks.
- Ability to multitask effectively, be flexible and prioritize responsibilities.
- A good team player with a can do approach.
- Familiarity with the Principles and Articles of the Treaty of Waitangi, demonstrating cultural sensitivity.
