The Team: What we do

We are looking for a Physiotherapist who can hit the ground running with a passion to deliver high quality standard of care to patients on the Christchurch Campus. We have a full time, fixed term position, and hours can be negotiated for the right candidate. You will be working across all inpatient areas as a member of the multidisciplinary team. Christchurch Hospital is a busy, acute hospital with a large team of enthusiastic physiotherapists.  Regular professional development opportunities and relevant course attendance is supported.

These positions are a great opportunity to try something new, and are often an opportunity to step into something more permanent. Whether you are looking for a new speciality, a new setting, or new city to call home this could be the doorway to your new chapter.

The Role: Where you fit in

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking expert assessments, completing appropriate interventions and providing advice or referring to other services.
  • Helping supervise students and providing mentorship to junior colleagues

Your skills will include:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A broad range of experience across the tertiary care environment, ideally including sound respiratory skills;
  • The ability to work collaboratively across the multidisciplinary team;
  • A working knowledge of quality improvement processes.

Our Culture: What matters to us
