Physiotherapist - North East Community Service Team
- Based at Princess Margaret Hospital
- Permanent 0.6 FTE position (24 hours per week)
- Hours of work are between 0800 -1630, Monday - Friday

About the Role
Our North/East Community Services Team is a large interdisciplinary team working with people in the community with a goal of maintaining patient independence. We offer assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of older persons.
This is a part-time role based at The Princess Margaret Hospital working 24 hours per week (0.6FTE).
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking expert assessments and developing and implementing appropriate interventions in conjunction with the client and their whānau /carer as appropriate
- Providing education and advice around appropriate future care, or referring to other services
- Helping to facilitate service improvements
- Building on specialist knowledge in relation to the client group
About You
We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist who ideally has seating and wheelchair experience to join the team. If you have the below skills and qualifications hit apply now!
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across the multi-disciplinary team
- Enthusiastic and confident in sharing your knowledge across your discipline
- A working knowledge of quality improvement processes
- ENABLE Accredited Assessor status as required for client group is preferred but training for this can be provided
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Registration with the NZ Physiotherapy Board with current practicing certificate is essential
