Policy Manager | Quality Patient Safety Team

About the Role
Specifically in this role you will be responsible for
- Training and quality assurance processes of delegated staff to enable them to keep policy and supporting materials up to date in the single repository.
About the Team/Service/ Location
This role is based in the Corporate office in central Christchurch, 32 Oxford Terrace. The Policy Manager role is part of the Quality and Patient Safety Team who are working collaboratively with the Divisional Quality Managers and their teams as well as senior clinicians and other support functions.
About you
We are seeking a Policy Manager who is agile in navigating complex challenges, has significant knowledge and experience of all aspects of the policy system lifecycle. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has experience working in manaaki hauora (Health Industry). You will have experience in managing documents and records as per the General Disposal Authority and good understanding of the Public Records Act.
It goes without saying that your enthusiasm and drive will shine through, as will your ability to build relationships, able to work autonomously and able to take initiative. In this role, you would be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple priorities and distractions.
