About the Role

The Quality Administrator provides essential administrative support to the OPH&R Quality Team, ensuring quality systems, documentation, and governance processes run efficiently and to a high standard.

This role is central to supporting document control, clinical governance activity, reporting requirements, and the management of OPH&R intranet and internet content. You will contribute directly to the achievement of quality objectives and help ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines meet legal, best practice, and recognised quality standards.

As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to Band 4

Key Responsibilities

Document Control

  • Support teams to develop, review, and publish policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Maintain and manage the document control system to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely updates

Clinical Governance Support

  • Provide administrative support to OPH&R Clinical Governance and review groups as directed by the Quality Manager
  • Coordinate meetings, documentation, and follow-up actions

Quality Team Administration

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the OPH&R Quality Team
  • Assist with internal and external reporting requirements

Internet & Intranet Management

  • Act as OPH&R internet and intranet site administrator
  • Ensure information is current, accessible, and aligned with organisational standards

About You

You are highly organised, confident with systems and documentation, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. You bring a strong administrative background and understand the importance of quality processes in a healthcare environment.

You will have:

Essential:

  • Proven administrative experience
  • Advanced computer literacy across Microsoft applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Demonstrated experience applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
