Recruitment Coordinator | Full Time, 6 Month Fixed Term

About the Role

As a Recruitment Coordinator, this role provides essential administrative and coordination support to the Recruitment Team, helping to keep recruitment processes running smoothly. It plays a key part in maintaining accurate reporting and supporting Recruitment Partners and Team Leaders with day-to-day operational tasks.

A strong focus is on recruitment reporting. -Ensuring data is accurate, up to date, and well maintained. The role works closely with Recruitment Partners to gather updates, follow up on outstanding information, and contribute to weekly reporting.

It also supports the coordination of job requests, ensuring approvals are in place and shared documents are kept up to date. Pre-employment checks and the preparation and sending of offer letters form part of this responsibility.

During busy periods, the role provides additional support across the team, including coordinating interviews and assisting with reference checks where needed.

About the Team/Service/Location

You will be part of a collaborative and supportive recruitment team based in Christchurch, working closely with Recruitment Partners, Coordinators, and Team Leaders to deliver a high-quality recruitment service across the organisation.

About you

As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will bring strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail. You will also have:

  • Confidence working with data, including maintaining accuracy and integrity across reports
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to manage spreadsheets effectively
  • Experience in administrative or coordination roles, ideally within recruitment or HR
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or similar systems (advantageous)
  • The ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and support a fast-paced team environment
