Registered Nurse - Anaesthetic Clinic Outpatients
- Christchurch Outpatient
- 0.9FTE (36 hours a week), Permanent role
- Monday to Friday 0800 – 1630 (excluding public holidays)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical reasoning and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a small team.
The Anaesthetic Assessment Clinic (AAC) requires you to undertake nurse anaesthetic triaging, nurse facilitated anaesthetic assessments and nursing support for the Anaesthetist clinics. As AAC is part of Christchurch Outpatients you may also be required to work as part of the wider Outpatient nursing team.
About the Service
Christchurch Outpatients (including the Anaesthetic Assessment Clinic) works across three floors of our outpatient facility. We provide nurse led clinics, nursing support and care for many different specialties.
About you
- 3+ years nursing experience
- Recent Surgical or Outpatient nursing experience preferred
- Completion of post graduate Health Assessment course
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with a strong patient focus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current
Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
