Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

About the Role

About the Service
The Christchurch Emergency Department (ED) based in Waipapa is one of the busiest in Australasia, sees more than 146,000 patients per year and services a population of 600,000. It is a tier six level regional trauma centre and the sole Emergency Department in the city of Christchurch.
About You
We are looking for Registered Nurses with a variety of acute nursing skills to join our emergency department team. Working in this fast-paced environment, you will contribute positively to our innovative and dynamic multidisciplinary team whom all strive to provide quality patient care.

- Recent acute or emergency nursing experience
- Ability to work a 24/7 rolling roster
- Solution focused, adaptable, self motivated with the ability to think on your feet
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent team player with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
