Registered Nurse – Fracture Clinic
- Based at Ashburton Hospital
- 0.6FTE (24 hours per week) permanent position
- Shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8am – 4.30pm

About the Role
We are looking for an energetic Registered Nurse to work in our Fracture Clinic based at Ashburton Hospital.
We
currently have one 0.6FTE permanent position available working Tuesday through
Thursday from 8am – 4.30pm.
We care for patients of all ages covering follow-up appointments and specialty clinics. No day will be the same with a variety of tasks including wound management, casting, splinting, patient education and running a variety of clinics.
This role will also provide cover in the outpatient's department or other areas of the Integration service.
About You
You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Acute Orthopaedic or Emergency experience is essential
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in an inclusive team environment.
- A high attention to detail and the ability to relate to patients and their families.
- A good use of initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills and a willingness to learn.
- Registered
with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising
Certificate (APC)
