About the Role
The Christchurch Hospital Palliative Care Service is inviting expressions of interest for a casual Registered Nurse role within their team.
This unique opportunity is for Registered Nurses with at least three years post-graduate experience who wish to choose Palliative Care as their area of specialty practice or who would like to develop specialist skills in Palliative Care. The position will be working as part of the dedicated palliative care team based at Christchurch hospital.

About You
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse who thrives on a challenge and is passionate about providing quality holistic patient care. They should possess a flexible and adaptable attitude with well-established communication skills, shows initiative and is a team player.
Skills and Experience:
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
- Oncology, haematology or general medicine experience is preferred.
- 3+ years post-graduate experience
- Flexible
covering all shifts across Monday – Friday
