Registered Nurse – Surgical Day Procedure Unit, Ashburton
- Based at Ashburton Hospital, Ashburton
- 0.4FTE (16 hours per week) permanent, part time position
- Endoscopy experience desirable

About the Role
The Surgical Day Procedure Unit is a dynamic, patient focused unit that provides endoscopy services to the Ashburton and rural population. We currently have the opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the team.
About You
As
a Nurse within the unit, your previous medical or surgical experience and
technical abilities, will help you to provide care to patients undergoing
diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. You’ll have excellent communication and
interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure within a
multidisciplinary team environment. You will be required to work set days on a
fixed four week roster, Monday to Friday once you have achieved competent
endoscopy nursing skills.
Essential:
- Be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
- Hold a current Nursing Council of New Zealand practising certificate.
