The Team: What we do
Ward 10 is one of our surgical wards here at the CDHB it has a specialty of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. Our role sees us caring for patients that are undergoing acute and arranged cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery.
We are seeking Registered Nurses with a passion for this area of nursing and who have a commitment to the delivery of high standard of nursing care. Enthusiastic and motivated, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a fast paced, forward thinking, supportive environment.

The Role: Where you fit in
If you’re a motivated, enthusiastic Registered Nurse, with medical and surgical experience and would like the opportunity to practice in cardiothoracic and vascular nursing we would love to hear from you.
- Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and APC.
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused.
- Recent acute surgical or medical experience is preferred for this position.
