About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dietitian to join our Renal Service in a 0.4FTE, outpatient role, based at Christchurch Health Campus.

This position provides specialist nutrition and dietetic support to people living with chronic kidney disease across Waitaha, supporting patients at different stages of their renal journey through high‑quality, evidence‑based care.

  • Peritoneal dialysis
  • Pre‑dialysis education and care

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team including nephrologists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, patient‑centred care. There is also opportunity to contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives within the renal outpatient service.

About the Team

We are seeking an enthusiastic, positive team player with a good clinical experience. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will receive regular supervision and opportunities for professional development and you will also be encouraged to develop your skills and professional interests.

This is a part time permanent opportunity. The hours of the week will need to meet service delivery requirements with rostered on-call weekend cover.

About You

You are a qualified and experienced Dietitian with a strong interest in renal outpatient care and delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based nutrition support. You work well within a multidisciplinary team and bring a collaborative, culturally responsive approach to patient‑centred care.
