Our Supply Department has a position available for a new Storeperson to join the team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of quality stores service, enabling the department to provide the Canterbury and West Coast DHBs with correct products within the required time frames.
Tasks that you will perform in this role include:
- picking and packaging of orders
- receipting of incoming goods
- processing orders
- physically moving stock in a warehouse and hospital environment
The role can be physically demanding and the successful applicant will need to be able to prioritize their workload and ensure accuracy in order to meet deadlines while working as part of a team.
As such you will need:
- good verbal communication
- basic keyboard skills
Previous experience as a Storeperson, holding a current forklift licence and/or, a dangerous goods certificate will also be looked upon favourably. The role is primarily based in the CDHB warehouse function.
