About the Role:

As a Transport Administration Assistant, you will support the Transport Manager (Fleet, Parking & Courier) in ensuring the effective administration of the HNZ Canterbury Fleet, Parking & Courier services. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high levels of service and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Service Planning: Ensuring vehicles are available, serviced, and maintained as required, providing timely communication to users, and managing parking access processes transparently.
  • Communications: Liaising with all stakeholders to support vehicle servicing, transport (taxi) requirements, and parking resource allocation.
  • Data Recording: Updating Fleet Management software, processing invoices, maintaining vehicle compliance records (WOFs, licenses, registrations), and managing car park access requests.
  • Problem Solving: Identifying and implementing solutions to support staff in their Fleet, Parking, and Courier needs.

About you

Essential:

  • Strong administration experience with proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, data entry, and organisational skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data processing.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in high-pressure environments.
  • Full Manual and Automatic Driver’s License.

Desired:

  • Experience in Fleet and/or Parking management.
  • P endorsement on a driver’s license.
  • Experience managing the daily demands of a fleet/parking operation.
