About the Role

The Child and Family Safety Service |Tiaki Whānau, has a multidisciplinary team providing specialist services for tamariki (children) and rangatahi (young people).

This position is designed for the candidate to work 1.0 FTE as a clinical administrator supporting the Violence Intervention Programme team, whose work is centred round Family Violence, Child Abuse and Neglect.  The days and hours for this role are fixed to the service need and are therefore not negotiable (Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.00pm).

This is a fast-paced position in an environment where the content of the referrals we process can provoke strong emotions in staff.  There is also a high risk of conflict arising from whānau directed at each other or staff members due to the often-emotive history taking component of the clinic sessions.
