Health Care Assistant / Administrator
- Anaesthetic Assessment Clinic Outpatients, Christchurch Outpatients
- 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week), Permanent role
- Monday to Friday 0800 – 1630 (excluding public holidays)

About the Role
We are looking for
an individual to work in a combined Health care Assistant (HCA) 0.5FTE and
Administrator 0.5FTE role as part of a small team in the Anaesthetic Assessment
Clinic (AAC).
This role requires you to undertake HCA tasks which include maintaining clinic flow, undertaking delegated clinical tasks, chaperoning patients if required and general tidying and stocking.
The Admin tasks include updating patient demographics, scanning and uploading paperwork and general admin troubleshooting tasks.
As AAC is part of
Christchurch Outpatients you may also be required to work as part of the wider
Outpatient team.
HCA salary starts
from $60,100 to $70,358 per annum. Based on the NZNO Nursing and Midwifery
collective agreement.
Administration salary is part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity
Claim settlement. This role has been mapped to National Band 3 /Profile 3C. For

About the Service
Christchurch Outpatients (including the Anaesthetic Assessment Clinic) works across four floors of our outpatient facility supporting many different specialties.

- Recent health related experience preferred
